A Very Brief Biography:
Piano Man Mike Schuler grew up in New York City playing the trumpet since age 9, performed in Carnegie Hall at 13, joined the U.S. Air Force Band at 17, and then came to college in Abilene, Texas where he studied music theory and composition.
Mike has traveled around the country and performed all over the state of Texas from Dallas/Ft Worth to South Padre Island, but he has always returned home to Abilene, where he is best remembered as the Piano Man at local venues like Crystal's Pizza, Cahoots, Ruby's, Cypress Street Station, Spano's Italian Restaurant, Embassy Suites, The Kiva Inn, The Paramount Theatre, The Mall of Abilene, Dyess Air Force Base, Fairway Oaks, The Petroleum Club, Abilene Country Club, Heff's Burgers, HSU, ACU, countless public & private schools, and many retirement homes.
Abilene's Friendly Neighborhood Piano Man has entertained thousands of school children both in person and through "The Piano Man" TV Show which ran for 6 years on local cable station AISD-TV. Between his regular weekly gigs he continues to play at schools throughout the Abilene area whenever they call him.
